This year marks the ninth anniversary of Fox Chase Cancer Center’s signature fundraising event—
In Vino Vita! This festive celebration features cocktails, dinner, live entertainment, and dancing, as well as live and silent auctions of high-end wines and experiences.
ALL PROCEEDS RAISED FROM THIS YEAR’S IN VINO VITA WILL BE DEDICATED TO ESTABLISHING A NURSING & PATIENT CARE SIMULATION AND INNOVATION LAB AT FOX CHASE.
The “Sim Lab” is an immersive, experiential nursing training facility tailored to an oncology environment that will bring many benefits to providers and patients, keeping Fox Chase at the forefront of training and medical care.
Our nursing program has an unparalleled track record of recognized excellence. The Sim Lab will build on that foundation of excellence, train new generations of nurses, and continually raise the bar for how nursing is practiced at Fox Chase. For those already in the field, the lab will provide innovative opportunities to learn new techniques and skills, implement new clinical practices, and initiate their own clinical research.

Since launching in 2014, In Vino Vita has raised $8.5 million for cancer research and patient care at Fox Chase. In Vino Vita has funded 12 pilot research grants for young investigators to propel new and innovative ideas; a state-of-the-art immunotherapy laboratory; sophisticated technology and equipment to enhance clinical care; 45 modern recliners for infusion room patients; created The Marian and Emma Brungard Surgical Family Waiting Suite; and established the next generation Mobile Screening Unit expected to launch in 2023.
